Board: What We Do

Administration

Responsible for assisting the IVP with board oversight, membership/training, and finances. They coordinate trainings, provide quarterly feedback, lead new member trainings, and help with recruitment planning.  They are self-motivated and able to work independently, while also collaborating effectively. 

Staff

Responsible for planning and executing social events, retreats, and ordering food for General Meetings. They possess strong organizational and project management skills, as well as creativity and attention to detail. 

Finance & Logistics

Responsible for identifying and applying for grants, managing the organization's budget, coordinating logistics for BruinCars (transportation services), and locker management.  They possess communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, as well as a strong commitment to the organization's mission and goals.

Outreach

Responsible for overseeing service projects, communicating with partners, creating a volunteering schedule, and coordinating shifts. As an important point of contact with partner organizations, this role requires excellent communication and organizational skills.

Interns

This position is responsible for leading service projects and planning related activities for each partner organization. They work closely with community partners to ensure service projects are successful and make a positive impact. This position requires excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. 

Media

Responsible for managing the organization's social media platforms, creating and updating website content, and assisting with recruitment. This role requires excellent communication, marketing, and digital media skills, as well as a passion for promoting the organization's mission and values.
